Vita:
Carole Gammer, Ph.D., clinical psychologist, is living in Paris since more than 20 years. She is the founder of Phasic Family Therapy and President of the Phasic Family Therapy Association in France (ATFP). She directs training institutes in family therapy in France, Germany, Switzerland and Spain and trains family therapists in Europe since the eighties. Carole Gammer supervises and trains teams in hospitals, medical psychological centres, and educational services as well as teams working with trauma survivors. Publication: «Adolescence, Crise Familiale», Éditions Érès, Toulouse, 1992.
Dr. Carole Gammer, klinische Psychologin, lebt seit mehr als 20 Jahren in Paris. Sie ist die Begründerin der Phasic Family Therapy und Vorsitzende der französischen Phasic Family Therapy Association (ATFP). Sie leitet Ausbildungsinstitute für Familientherapie in Frankreich, Deutschland, Spanien und der Schweiz und bildet seit den achtziger Jahren Familientherapeuten in ganz Europa aus. Carole Gammer ist als Supervisorin und Ausbilderin für Beschäftigte in Krankenhäusern, psychologischen Zentren und pädagogischen Diensten tätig und arbeitet in dieser Funktion auch mit Betreuern von Trauma-Überlebenden. Julia Granville is a Systemic Psychotherapist at the Tavistock Clinic. She was formerly working in a specialist unit assessing families where there were child protection concerns. Julia has extensive experience in the area of child protection and currently works in the Fostering and Adoption team at the Tavistock Clinic and with children unable to live in their biological families. Julia is involved in training social workers and family therapists to work with children and families. The increasing need for family therapy with children cared for by members of their extended family has lead to the development of the Kinship Care project, working with relatives raising children.

Dr. Martine Groen, Psychologue/psychotherapist, trainer, consultant and mediator in private practice. She is a specialist in working with traumatized families. For at least the last ten years she is working with families, (migrant and refugees), in Holland, South Africa and for eight years in Bosnie, Kosovo, and Montenegro. The patterns in conflict are her main focus. She is also a trainer and she has integrated the skills of the mediationprocess in her method of working. She is co-autor of the book "Intimate Violence", (2003) that will be translated in Englisch, and she wrote a booklet for social workers, "Shame and Violence in migrant families" (2002).

Rita Harris is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Systemic Psychotherapist. She is currently Chair of the Child and Family Department of the Tavistock Clinic in London. During her clinical training Rita's interest in working systemically in a variety of contexts developed. This includes work with individuals, couples, families and organisations. In all aspects of her clinical work Rita has been interested in the children's perspective. Much of her current clinical work is as part of a specialist fostering and adoption multi-disciplinary team. Here her research has focussed on issues of contact for children with parents with whom they no longer live. She is particularly interested in ways in which their voice might be heard.
Rita Harris ist beratende klinische Psychologin und systemische Psychotherapeutin. Derzeit ist sie Vorsitzende der Kinder- und Familienabteilung der Tavistock Clinic in London. Während ihrer Ausbildung hat Rita Harris ein besonderes Interesse für systemische Arbeit in verschiedenen Kontexten entwickelt. Dazu gehört die Arbeit mit Einzelpersonen, Paaren, Familien und Organisationen. In allen Bereichen ihrer klinischen Arbeit hat sich Rita Harris vor allem für die Perspektive der Kinder interessiert. Ein Grossteil ihrer derzeitigen klinischen Arbeit geschieht als Mitglied eines multidisziplinären Expertenteams für Pflegeunterbringung und Adoption. In diesem Bereich konzentriert sich ihre Forschung auf die Beziehung von Kindern zu ihren Eltern, mit denen sie nicht mehr zusammenleben. Sie versuch hierbei besonders, Wege zu entwickeln, um die Interessen der Kinder besser zu vertreten.

Arlene Healey is a social worker and family therapist who has worked in Belfast for more than 25 years with troubled children and young people. In the early 1990's she developed a culturally sensitive systemic approach to the treatment of families affected by trauma emanating from the civil conflict in Northern Ireland. In 1998 she was appointed as Centre Manager and Consultant Family Therapist to head up the new regional Family Trauma Centre. She has been very involved in the development of systemic family therapy in Northern Ireland and Co-chairs the MSc Systemic Psychotherapy course at Queens University Belfast. She is Chair of the Association of Family Therapy (N I Branch) and Chair of the Institute for Conflict Research.
Arlene Healey ist Sozialarbeiterin und Familientherapeutin. Sie arbeitet seit mehr als 25 Jahren mit problembelasteten Kindern und Jugendlichen. In den neunziger Jahren hat sie einen kultursensitiven systemischen Ansatz für die Arbeit mit Familien entwickelt, die durch den Nordirland-Konflikt Traumata erlitten haben. 1998 wurde sie zur Zentrumsleiterin und beratenden Familientherapeutin im Zusammenhang mit der Einrichtung eines neuen Family Trauma Centre in der Region ernannt. Sie hat sich sehr für die Entwicklung von systemischer Familientherapie in Irland eingesetzt und ist Co- Vorsitzende des Master-Studienganges Systemic Psychotherapy an der Queens- Universität Belfast. Sie ist Vorsitzende der Association of Family Therapy in Nordirland und des Institute for Conflict Research.

Dr. Allan Holmgren, Jg. 1953. 1981 Doktor in Psychologie an der Universität Kopenhagen, Direktor des führenden dänischen Ausbildungsinstituts für Familientherapie DISPUK, Vorsitzender der Danish Association for Training Institutes. Er arbeitet sowohl im Bereich der klinischen Psychiatrie als auch in der Entwicklungsarbeit mit Organisationen und Führungskräften. Schwerpunkte: Entwicklung der systemischen Tradition, Wittgenstein, sozialer Konstruktionismus, kulturelle Psychologie und ihre Verbindung zur Praxis, besonders im Hinblick auf die Behandlung von Psychosen. Vorstandsmitglied der EFTA-TIC. Ausrichtung von Workshops in Europa, Kanada, USA und Neuseeland. Hobbys: Tennis, Badminton, Gitarre, Marathonlauf. Vater von vier Kindern. Veröffentlichungen: Ein dänisches Buch über Paartherapie (2001), mehrere Kapitel und Aufsätze in Zeitschriften und Handbüchern auf Dänisch, Norwegisch, Schwedisch und Englisch.
