Registration and Payment
Please use the online registration or the registration form in the printed programme (download here) to register for the congress and all related events as well as for hotel reservations.
Return the form as soon as possible to the congress office CPO HANSER SERVICE GmbH. Registrations will be confirmed if payment is received by the congress office by 20 September 2004. Should the payment be received after this date, you will receive your confirmation at the congress counter.
Please bring a copy of your bank remittance with you.

Cancellation of Congress Participation
Notice of cancellation should be sent in writing only to the congress office CPO HANSER SERVICE GmbH. In case of cancellation by 31 July 2004, the payment will be refunded, minus a handling charge of 25%. No refund will be made after 31 July 2004.

Changes of the Congress Programme
In the event of cancellations by speakers or other changes in the main congress program, no full or partial refund of the registration fee can be made.

Hotel Reservation
Please use the registration form to make a hotel reservation. Your reservation is only binding for the hotel if you have guaranteed the reservation by stating the data on your credit card. Upon binding confirmation of your reservation - in compliance of German law - you also become a party to the contract with the stated hotel, which both parties undertake to fulfil. The length of time for which the contract has been concluded is irrelevant. Should the hotel fail to provide the room for which a confirmed reservation exists it must compensate the guest. Should the guest fail to make use of the services provided by the hotel, he is still obliged to pay the stated price. In the event of cancellation a handling charge of EUR 25 will be charged by CPO HANSER SERVICE GmbH. After 30 June 2004 the hotel is entitled to charge any cancellation costs to your credit card. Please address all communication concerning any modifications and cancellations of your reservation to the congress office CPO HANSER SERVICE GmbH until 19 September 2004. After this date please contact the hotel directly.

Supporting Programme
Sightseeing tours and social events must be paid in advance at the time of booking. Each event / tour requires a minimum number of participants. If this minimum is not reached, the event / tour will be cancelled and the full advance payment will be refunded. In the event of cancellation by a participant, no refund will be made. Reservations for the social events will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets for the social events and tours will be issued and are available at the congress counter.

Liability
CPO HANSER SERVICE GmbH is liable in keeping with the deligence required of a prudent businessman, according to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Regardless of course in law the liability of CPO HANSER SERVICE GmbH shall be limited to damages which are caused with aforethought or by gross negligence. However, this shall not affect the liability of the congress organiser and of the persons or organisations responsible for providing means of transport or other services. Verbal agreement can only be considered as binding when confirmed by CPO HANSER SERVICE GmbH in writing.

Place of performance, venue of jurisdiction
Berlin shall be the exclusive place
Berlin shall be the exclusive place of performance and venue of jurisdiction for all parties. The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
